Snippet-Post
I often come across little snippets that I want to share with people, but they don’t really merit a full-length post, and they don’t always fit neatly into the design theme of this blog. So, I considered starting another blog which would be a repository for all those snippets, bits and pieces, etc. The snippets I have in mind are a new pieces of design or architecture I like, an interesting or thought-provoking post on another blog, a snippet of code (PHP, CSS, JavaScript) that might be useful - that kind of thing.
So I thought I’d introduce the “Snippet-Post” - the most recent Snippet-Posts will display are displayed in the sidebar and won’t be listed along with the main posts on the front page. If you want to submit a Snippet Post, I’ll make sure there’s a link back to you. The Snippet-Post could be about pretty much anything (so long as it’s in some way related to design, art, typography, photography, architeture); it might be a web site you like, a good colour palette, a WordPress plugin or even a little self-promotion; e.g. you’ve redesigned your blog/web site and you want to let everyone know.
If someone can think of a catchier, more apropos, more memorable name than “Snippet-Post”, then let me know. I’ll also have a prize for the top “Snippet-Post” submitter each month (details to follow).

I like the snippets idea. How about micro posts or tiny posts or quick posts or lickle posts;) i like your new design too. very nice.

My only concern with “Snippet Posts” is that they might be confused with regular posts, and that people might think they are just condensed versions of my regular posts… but then I’m probably worrying too much about it.

I like the concept. Maybe you could use syndicated feeds from other blogs too (blogs u like and trust). just an idea.
