Ever wondered what to do with your TV? Well, Montreal-based Ben Depelteau has an innovative solution, and has turned it into these great screen prints. You can find them here. You can see more of Ben's great work at Px(c), the artist's "corporate alter-ego".
And be sure to check out the wonderful "Appliance Catastrophes" series of prints here - brilliant.
In Appliance Catastrophes, Px (c) combines the humor of Albert Camus and the visual insight of Barbara Kruger to create a series of collages that celebrate mundane tragedy: a washer leak, a toaster oven on fire, or mould in a coffee ... [more]

Horrorwood has just launched a new web site and blog. You've probably seen their work before, but you can see a whole new load of designs on the new site. What's more, keep an eye out for the upcoming clothing line, with a soon-to-be-launched range of t-shirts; to make sure you get one, keep an eye on the Horrorwood blog or you might end up like the bot on the right;)
Gorgeous logo too! [more]

Warning: before you take a look at this guy's work [Peter Jaworowski], wrap a thick rubber band around your head (over the head and under the lower jaw) - it will prevent damage to your chin when your jaw hits the floor.
Note: Since writing this post, Peter's site has been redesigned. [June 29, 2007] [more]

As I'm a huge fan of stripes, I'm also a fan of this guy's work - Ian Davenport. He creates the stripes by pouring paint or secreting it from a syringe. You can see more of his work here.
"Davenport's work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and is included in the public collections of the Tate Gallery, London, the Weltkunst Collection, Zurich, and the Dallas Museum of Art, Texas." [more]

I recently came across the wonderful sub-studio haling from New York. I bought this screen print which I fell for at first site. And now that it's hanging on my wall, I'm even happier with it.
You can find the sub-studio shop on Etsy. The prices are reasonable, and the service is personal - a 10/10 experience.
And the screen-print framed at home! [more]
