As I'm a huge fan of stripes, I'm also a fan of this guy's work - Ian Davenport. He creates the stripes by pouring paint or secreting it from a syringe. You can see more of his work here. "Davenport's work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and is included in the public collections of the Tate Gallery, London, the Weltkunst Collection, Zurich, and the Dallas Museum of Art, Texas." I recently came across the wonderful sub-studio haling from New York. I bought this screen print which I fell for at first site. And now that it's hanging on my wall, I'm even happier with it.
